I just wanted to say a big thank you for helping me identify my 653 pro Lugless. I found it for sale, unwanted and quite neglected at a local bike shop.
Not only could you help me identify the model, but also the builder as Tony.
It is, even in it's current spec., the best bike I have owned and rides beautifully. It has chromed Shimano dropouts and a Cinelli bottom bracket, ITM carbon forks, a mixture of Shimano equipment and newish Omega rims.
I plan to begin a restoration later this year with your help, hopefully with a new pair of matching Reynolds forks and top-end period equipment.
I have attached a picture of it on a training ride in Shackerstone, Leicestershire.
