I just recently had my 1971 Mercian frame repaired and restored by you and I just finished building it up with period-correct components. Its a full Campagnolo Nuovo Record gruppo, except for the brakeset, which is a set of Weinmann centerpulls. Cinelli bar and stem, Super Champion rims, Brooks B-17 saddle, Christophe toe clips and straps, Suntour freewheel, and Silca frame pump.
Its not only a beautiful frame, but it rides amazingly well! The kind folks at West End Bikes here in Houston, Texas ( a Mercian dealer!) helped me build it up. Attached is a picture for the blog!
