Mercian donate an Aston Villa-themed charity bike for the Paris-2-Nice

When Dave, a good friend of Mercian, informed us he would be riding the Paris-2-Nice charity ride to raise funds for Aware, the Irish mental health charity, we offered to build him a bike.  The result was this rather special Aston Villa-themed bike – a team very close to the heart of Dave and his son Conor.

We used the first prototype of our new model, the Ventura Allroad, to build Dave a bike that would comfortably help him through the six day ride to Nice.  Decorated in Villa colours and dedicated to Conor, we look forward to seeing this special bike atop Mont Ventoux.

Thanks to Aston Villa FC for allowing us to photograph the bike at Villa Park.  We tip our chapeau to Dave for his fundraising efforts and hard work to get fit and ready for the ride, which takes place in September 2025.  To date Dave has raised over EUR21k!  Click on the link below if you would like to donate to this very worthy cause:
