Not all snowy rides are as fun as Bob and Jen's last summer in the mountains of Norway. They took their Mercians, a Pro Lugless and a Ventura over for a riding holiday in Norway.
This ride took them up the Sognefjellet, the highest road in Norway, topping out at 1434m. The Ultegra groupsets providing enough gears for the way up and the hydraulic disc brakes looked after them coming back down.
There was plenty of left over snow alongside the immaculately maintained tarmac, showing why the road is closed through the winter months.
If the British slush is less appealing maybe now's the time to treat your ride to a new paintjob, miss out on a few of those less fun winter miles and get ready for the spring sunshine.
