The Mercian Pro Lugless Classic
A versatile sleek road machine, perfect for sportives, touring and endurance racing. With its modern geometry, the Pro Lugless Classic delivers a supple ride, effortlessly absorbing bumps and muting road buzz for exceptional, all-day comfort.
The Lugless Classic combines the timeless resilience of steel with contemporary design for optimal performance over long distances. Its fillet-brazed construction eliminates traditional lugs, resulting in a clean aesthetic and reduced weight. Crafted from high-quality Reynolds 725 double butted oversized steel tubing, the Lugless Classic offers a fast and effortlessly compliant ride that will keep you in the saddle during the longest of days.
Hand built in the heart of the UK, the bike comes with carbon forks and disc brakes as standard (rim brakes are also an option). Available as frame-only or fully assembled: choose one of our three assembly packages – or we can help you build up the assembly to your own specification. A fully assembled bike weighs in at just over 9kg (core package).

Now you’ve chosen your frame, you just need to decide on your paint options: simply use our paint configurator to select your scheme and attach it to your order. Alternatively, select your paint scheme after you’ve paid your deposit.

Secure your build spot with a £1,200.00 deposit (we will then request an interim payment of 75% of the outstanding balance approx. 4 weeks later once your frame is built – see Terms & Conditions)

The paint scheme you design is just a guide – we will confirm the scheme with you, and fine-tune it to your needs, before we start the frame build. Colours shown are for guidance only; due to screen settings, the shades may not be an exact match to the final paint colour.
